Ex-cabbie, construction worker, newspaper reporter and war correspondent – now I write essays, make paintings and teach meditation.
I wrote The Alchemist’s Song and it was a best seller for about 5 minutes. Lately I’ve been making magazine & book-jacket illustrations. Still shocked that people actually hand over hard-earned cash for my painted works but there you are: the paintings are held by collectors around the world.
Years ago, I obtained university degrees in religion and culture. And so I’ve expanded my interest in this area as a Certified Meditation Teacher. This Grandmamma.com project is really just words, whimsy and illustrations/paintings. Sometimes the painting arrives before the words.
